As a direct care position, you will interact with and supervise clients in treatment, assisting both clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay:</strong> $15.00/hour (before shift differentials)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Available PRN Shift:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>2nd Shift:</strong> 3 PM - 11 PM</li> </ul> <p><strong>Shift Differentials:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>1st Shift:</strong> (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00</li> <li><strong>2nd Shift:</strong> (Monday - Friday) $1.00; (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50</li> <li><strong>3rd Shift:</strong> (Monday - Friday) $1.50; (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with the intake process for new clients into the program.</li> <li>Communicate with staff verbally or via written communication logs; responsible for detailed client logs.</li> <li>Listen to clients regarding all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.</li> <li>Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.</li> <li>Conduct mandatory bed checks as required and complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting.</li> <li>Attend shift changes, team meetings, and company meetings.</li> <li>Ensure the client schedule is followed daily.</li> <li>Assist with client interventions.</li> <li>Follow treatment plan objectives.</li> <li>Monitor the medication line.</li> <li>Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.</li> <li>Conduct searches of clients upon their return to the facility.</li> <li>Monitor treatment for necessary hygiene and medical needs.</li> <li>Uphold therapeutic boundaries and adhere to the staff code of ethics.</li> <li>Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide input.</li> <li>Distribute client snacks as needed.</li> <li>Train new staff on the unit, program, and milieu.</li> <li>Help maintain the facility.</li> <li>Assist clients in obtaining sponsors.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Valid driver’s license.</li> <li>Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health preferred.</li> <li>Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Employment Information:</strong> Due to the nature of behavioral healthcare work and our commitment to ensuring client safety, candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances.
