Positions are available at different locations and in different states.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides feedback on their performance.</li> <li>Orients and Trains new staff to unit and program.</li> <li>Assists with Interviewing and Hiring BHT’s.</li> <li>Communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs.</li> <li>Assists with employee disciplinary actions.</li> <li>Develops employee schedule.</li> <li>Conducts employee performance evaluations.</li> <li>Assists with interventions with clients.</li> <li>Assists with confiscation of items.</li> <li>Listens to clients and BHT’s concerning all areas of the clients’ treatment.</li> <li>Coordinate activities including lectures, recreation and meetings with Lead BHT’s.</li> <li>Follows objectives of treatment plans.</li> <li>Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.</li> <li>Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input.</li> <li>Attends trainings as necessary and schedules BHT’s to attend trainings.</li> <li>Attends facility meetings and coordinates BHT department meetings.</li> <li>Clerical duties as needed.</li> <li>Other duties as deemed necessary.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>High diploma or equivalent required</li> <li>Previous clinical experience preferred</li> <li>Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience</li> <li>Current CPR, AED and First Aid, required&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities: </strong></p> <p>Provide training and day-to-day guidance to the BHT team including, but not limited to, making daily rounds of the facility.</p> <p><strong>Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </strong></p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
