Bender

Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) is seeking a skilled Bender to join our fabrication team. As a specialized supplier of boiler pressure parts, BTA values precision and quality in every component we produce. The Bender will be responsible for shaping and bending metal tubes and components to meet exact specifications, ensuring that our products are durable and fit for their purpose in various types of boilers such as drum boilers, watertube boilers, and field tube boilers. The role requires attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bending machines and related equipment to bend metal tubes and parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing instructions to set up equipment and perform bends accurately.
• Inspect bent components for conformity to quality and dimensional standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot bending machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects on time.
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating tube bending or metal forming equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime as needed.
