With real products in the field, we’re scaling faster than the grid can, transforming power from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage for the companies building the future.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The <strong>Associate BESS Asset Manager</strong> supports the operational, technical, and compliance oversight of <strong>grid-tied energy storage assets</strong>. This role focuses on ensuring assets operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and financial obligations.&nbsp; The Associate Asset Manager works cross-functionally with O&amp;M providers, OEMs, consultants, market operators, and internal stakeholders to protect asset value and optimize long-term performance.&nbsp;<span data-teams="true"> The role has budget responsibilities but mostly involves technical energy management.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support the Asset Management team in overseeing the day-to-day performance and operation of grid-tied energy storage assets.</li> <li>Monitor asset performance, availability, and operational KPIs to ensure assets are operating safely and efficiently.</li> <li>Support preparation of internal and external reports related to asset performance, operations, and compliance.</li> <li>Coordinate with O&amp;M providers, OEMs, and other vendors to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed in accordance with contractual obligations.</li> <li>Track asset compliance with regulatory requirements, grid interconnection agreements, permits, and market participation rules.</li> <li>Assist in managing relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring performance aligns with contractual service levels.</li> <li>Review operational reports, maintenance records, and performance data to identify issues, trends, or opportunities for improvement.</li> <li>Support the tracking and resolution of operational incidents, outages, and underperformance events, including assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions.</li> <li>Monitor and track warranty obligations, performance guarantees, and service agreement requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with maintaining and organizing asset documentation, including contracts, technical reports, compliance filings, and operational records.</li> <li>Review vendor invoices and support expense tracking to ensure alignment with project budgets and contractual agreements.</li> <li>Coordinate site visits, inspections, and technical assessments with internal teams and external consultants.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain asset management trackers, compliance calendars, and operational databases.</li> <li>Identify operational risks and escalate issues to senior asset management staff when necessary.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to asset performance, operational processes, and vendor management.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy systems, finance, business, or related field (required).</li> <li>1-4 years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <p><strong>For US-based roles - What you’ll get:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary + annual performance-based bonus eligibility</li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>401(k) with company match</li> <li>Paid time off and company holidays&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>For Mexico-based roles - What you’ll get:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary + annual performance bonus eligibility</li> <li>Christmas Bonus (Aguinaldo): 30 days</li> <li>Major medical expenses and life insurance</li> <li>Paid time off and holidays (per local policy)</li> </ul> <p><strong>For all roles:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Professional development and growth opportunities</li> <li>Opportunity to grow with a mission-driven team shaping the future of clean energy</li> <li>Equal Opportunity: ON.energy is committed to equal employment opportunity and to maintaining a work environment free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.</li> <li>Accommodations: If you need an accommodation during the application process, email <a href="mailto:recruitment@onenergystorage.com">recruitment@onenergystorage.com</a></li> <li>Benefits vary by role and location and are subject to change.</li> </ul></div>
