About the Host Ambassador position
Reporting to Program Lead, the Host Ambassador is primarily responsible for qualifying new and existing host families that meet Canada Homestays standard of care.
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) compensated with an hourly wage between $25.50 -$27.50. Our Interview/Home Visit and Revisit Compensation Policy applies for the interview and host file completion.
This is a hybrid role with in-person work in the Vancouver region.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-person interviews/visits (for new hosts) and revisits (for existing hosts) at their homes to ensure the rooms and family environment meet the required standards to validate the information that was given during the virtual interview (See Interview/Home Visit Guide);
Email data and supporting documentation (ie. criminal record checks, host agreements, etc.) following all CHN protocols for due diligence and data integrity;
