<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>As a Bim Technician I, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate updates to our Master Floor Plans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate creative problem-solving and work with your team to ensure accurate blueprints for the organization. The most rewarding aspect of this role is that you will help ensure we provide customers with a building experience that stays within the budget and on time.</p> <p><em>You Will Thrive in This Role If You…</em></p> <ul> <li>Enjoy producing precise, detail‑driven work</li> <li>Communicate clearly and collaborate well with others</li> <li>Stay organized and manage multiple tasks effectively</li> <li>Adapt quickly to shifting priorities</li> <li>Approach challenges with a solutions‑focused mindset</li> </ul> <p><em>These skills will be used to:</em></p> <ul> <li>Prepare and update residential master documentation and drawing sets</li> <li>Produce accurate drawing revisions within established timelines</li> <li>Maintain master files and related supporting materials</li> <li>Participate in quality control reviews and complete required corrections</li> <li>Support updates to exteriors, structural options, predetermined options, and related documentation</li> <li>Assist in analyzing field or production issues and help implement corrective actions</li> <li>Help communicate and support rollout of updates to lot‑specific production teams</li> <li>Collaborate with team members across departments to complete assigned work</li> <li>Follow established drafting, BIM, and documentation standards</li> <li>Maintain awareness of required company systems, processes, and training</li> </ul> <p><em>Preferred Qualifications:</em></p> <ul> <li>1–3 years of experience in residential drafting, BIM, CAD, architectural documentation, or a related field</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret residential construction documents and blueprints</li> <li>Working knowledge of Revit</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management</li> <li>Experience in residential construction, drafting, architecture, construction management, or related fields</li> <li>Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred</li> </ul> <p><em>Physical demands and work environment:</em></p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers</li> <li>Ability to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills to operate standard office equipment</li> <li>Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–25 lbs. unassisted</li> <li>Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional reaching and standing</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Value of a Career with The Fischer Group</strong><br>The Fischer Group is a family of companies focused on delivering exceptional experiences across homebuilding, financial services, and real estate.
