Body Shop Technician

A family owned auto body-shop established since 1983 is looking to hire a Body Shop Technician. The employer is part of the ICBC repair network and I-CAR certified, and prides themselves as a busy shop built on years of consistent customer service.

 

The employer is expanding and is looking to add an experienced Body Shop Technician to the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field, is a team player, and is able to work Monday to Friday at the Burnaby shop. The individual should be self-motivated and able to work both independently and within our team. The shop operates in a fast paced environment, so time management is key.

 

There is an immediate opening for the position and there is capacity for high earnings potential based on the volume of work available.

 

Requirements

- Certified, or very experienced within the industry

- Ability to drive and work on-site in Burnaby

- Legally authorized to work in Canada (This is a T4 position)

- High level of English not required

Key Responsibilities

- Dismantle and inspect vehicles

- Diagnose issues

- Inspect and review parts

- Preparation of vehicles

- Repair and replace

- Maintain a safe workspace

- Communicate with team and manage workflows

Compensation and Benefits

- $25 – $35 per hour, dependent on experience (8 hour shift), Monday- Friday
