Brand & Social Media Intern

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a fun, creative, and social-media-savvy intern to join our marketing team at moomoo Malaysia! If you love making content and keeping up with the latest trends, this role is for you. You’ll work closely with our Marketing team bring fresh ideas to life. This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and wants hands-on experience in digital marketing for a fast-growing fintech brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across moomoo Malaysia’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
• Curate and create content including short-form videos and images to drive engagement.
• Support campaign execution, including promos, branding campaigns, and content collaborations.
• Work closely with the internal creative team on design assets and marketing materials.
• Help with event and activation support when needed.
• Monitor social media trends and provide fresh, financially relevant content ideas.
• Support in compiling social media reports and performance insights.
• Assist with admin coordination, procurement, and paperwork.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and branding.
• Familiar with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Later).
• Creative mindset with the ability to write engaging captions and brainstorm new content ideas.
• Fun, organized and proactive.
• Bonus: Knowledge of investment and content creation for reels/TikTok trends, short-form video editing.
