About the role

As a Junior Branding Designer at EBL (Etaily Brand Labs), you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing brand identities that resonate with our audience and uphold our company's values and vision. You will be entrusted with creating impactful visual designs across various platforms, contributing to the overall branding strategy, and ensuring brand consistency.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: A degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Communication Arts, Visual Communication, Informational Design, or a related field from reputable institutions or equivalent experience.
  2. Professional Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing strong skills in graphic design and branding. Prior internship experience in a similar role is a plus.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Design Softwares such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
    • Skilled in using Canva and other design tools.
    • Knowledge of Brand Identity and Graphic Design principles.
  4. Creativity: Demonstrated ability to translate ideas into compelling visual designs. Strong skills in typography, color theory, layout, and composition are essential.
  5. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and understand design requirements.
  6. Time Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  7. Digital Savvy: Familiarity with current trends in social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and e-commerce brand design.
  8. Detail-oriented: Attentive to detail to ensure high-quality design output.
  9. Personal Equipment: Own laptop with necessary software and a stable internet connection for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Brand Identities: Collaborate with the design team to create and implement innovative brand identities, including logos, color schemes, typography, and other brand elements.
  2. Creating Brand Guidelines: Develop comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across various platforms and materials.
  3. Market Research: Conduct research to stay abreast of market trends and understand the target audience for effective branding strategies.
  4. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside marketing, advertising, and product development teams to align branding across all materials and channels.
  5. Design Execution: Create compelling visual designs for advertisements, packaging, websites, social media, and other marketing materials.
  6. Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest branding trends, technologies, and best practices.
  7. Brand Strategy Contribution: Assist in strategizing branding efforts to effectively represent the company's values and goals.
