About the role

  • We are looking for a fun, hard-working individual to help build and service the needs of a portfolio of clients in line with service levels and procedures.
  • You are someone who can assist in the growth of ICIB Brokerweb by building your own client book and/or introducing new business prospects to the Company.
  • You'll be working a 37.5hr full-time working week!
     

Responsibilities 

Day to Day responsibilities:

  • To grow your client portfolio and revenue streams · 
  • To provide a professional and transparent service to all allocated clients in accordance with service standards set out in the Company’s Operating Manual.
  • To ensure all marketing of client or prospect insurances is done with full disclosure, and whilst recognising the absolute need for accuracy and honesty in the promotion of any and all risks/insurance being promoted to markets, to still present a client’s risk to markets in the best light possible.
  • To renew all client insurances in a timely manner, in accordance with the timelines set out in the Company’s Operating Manual.
  • To ensure the smooth processing of all relevant documentation as required by clients, markets or in the renewal or placement of insurances, whether completed personally or supervision of others delegated this responsibilities.

General:

  • Ensure accurate entry of data into Company systems.
  • Advise the company of any knowledge of a complaint against the company or any of its employees in line with the Complaints Policy
  • Recommend any changes that might be appropriate to better meet client or market need. 
     

Who you are:

  • You are a team-player!
  • You have a positive and can-do attitude
  • You would've had experience working in a similar role within the Financial Services/insurance/banking industry
  • You are competent in Microsoft Word, Excel (Intermediate to advance), and Outlook
  • You have amazing time management and organisation skills.
     

Qualifications

  • Level 5 of the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services
