 Bryden pi Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position for the Operations Division:

 

                       Facilities and Maintenance Worker

The incumbent is expected to to maintain and monitor the general housekeeping of the Macoya facility and assist with manual handling and lifting duties in Bpi’s Commissary and Depot as required.

 

Some Main Responsibilities include:

• Maintain general housekeeping of Bpi facility’s grounds, inclusive of green spaces and roadways.
• Assist in washing/ cleaning of executive vehicles and building windows.
• Maintain the condition of machinery, tools and equipment.
• Maintain material and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts, as well as maintain inventory of frequently used spares, required to meet work targets.
• Assist with manual handling and lifting duties not limited to Bpi’s Commissary, Depot, etc., as scheduled and otherwise once available upon request.
• Provide assistance to the Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator. 
• Maintain effective levels of productivity when completing general housekeeping.
• Inspect, and measure completed work against established standards, instructions and checklists.
  
  

Knowledge, Experience and Requirement:

• 3 CXC O’ level passesWorking knowledge of the Company’s facility
  
• Or relevant combination of training and experience
• Knowledge in landscaping/gardening

Key Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Basic understanding to coordinate repairs and installations with contractors and service providers to ensure tasks are completed adequately.
