<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">We are seeking a Project Manager that specializes in Building Automation and Controls to lead the planning and execution of our new business unit expansion strategy. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Key Responsibilities:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Review contract requirements, extract and define scope of work, establish labor and material costs</li>
<li>Hire and manage sub-contractors to provide:</li>
<li>Project cost control</li>
<li>Manpower growth control</li>
<li>Project specific expertise</li>
<li>Provide weekly meetings with sales staff to inform them of the</li>
<li>Project schedule status</li>
<li>Manpower loading</li>
<li>Budget status</li>
<li>Provide the following mandates to supervisors and request weekly reports:</li>
<li>At no time will project be started without:
<ul>
<li>Approved detailed estimate and scope of work.</li>
<li>A specific timeline to meet the proposal.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>At no time will man-hours not be tracked on weekly basis vs. project estimate.</li>
<li>At no time will KBS not meet committed schedule to the customer.</li>
<li>At no time will a project within any department not be tracked (Estimate vs. Actual).</li>
<li>At no time will customer complaints not be dealt with within two (2) hours of reported time.</li>
<li>At no time will supervisors / Superintendents within a department not inspect, punch list and provide final approval of each project.</li>
<li>Provide periodic job inspections to ensure quality and customer satisfaction is in place.</li>
<li>Assemble paperwork, required by the contract, for client and internal company use, provide detailed information to Project Supervisors / Superintendent</li>
<li>Maintain schedules, before and during jobs, for internal and external publication that identifies the client’s requirements and needs of the project and the company’s ability to man the job</li>
<li>Assemble plans, parts, drawings and scope description with budget requirements for delivery to Job Supervisors and Field Technicians, assigned to the work, in a timely fashion based upon schedules and product lead time</li>
<li>Maintain communication with clients, appropriately documented inside our systems; track submittals, change orders, RFIs, RFI responses and authorizations</li>
<li>Organize all teams to stay on track with a job’s requirements and needs, from installation to programming, QC and accounting</li>
<li>Conduct physical on-site inspections from inception of the job to the physical closeout of the job</li>
<li>Work with appropriate team members and QC personnel to completely close out jobs</li>
<li>Produce all close-out documentation including checkout sheets, drawings (as built), and warranties</li>
<li>Attend all client required progress meetings with full supporting documentation of job status, as of the meeting date</li>
<li>Support subcontractors</li>
<li>Ensure a safe work environment and support company efforts on job safety and employee wellbeing</li>
</ul>
