Job Description

The Business Analyst Intern will support the Simplification Global team in driving digital transformation and process optimization initiatives across the organization. This is an entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience translating business needs into data-driven insights and improved ways of working.

Working closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders, the intern will help gather requirements, build and maintain analytics and Power BI dashboards, map business processes, and contribute to internal and external presentations. The role offers strong exposure to cross-functional teams and the company’s global simplification agend

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to turn data into actionable insights (workspaces, reports, dataset)

• Build, maintain and organize trackers and reporting in Nexus / Sitracker

Strategic / Data Analysis

• Understand the organization’s digital vision and help align transformation and simplification initiatives with business objectives.

• Support the identification of opportunities for automation, data integration, and process optimization.

• Help identify data quality issues and engage with the business on corrective measures.

Requirements Gathering

• Support the documentation and validation of business requirements from stakeholders.

• Assist in translating business needs into technical specifications for IT teams.

• Use Wrike to help manage and track requirements.

Process Reengineering

• Assist in mapping current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes.

Digital Solution Implementation

• Work alongside analysts and solution architects to support solution alignment.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and change management efforts.

• Help track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a supporting link between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Support the adoption of digital tools across the organization.

• Contribute to internal and external presentations, including the weekly and monthly council decks and ad hoc presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

• Entry-level; some exposure to Power BI and data analytics (through academic projects, internships, or coursework) is required.

• Prior experience or familiarity with process improvement or business analysis is a plus.

• Experience or interest in the renewable energy sector is a plus.

Certifications

• Power BI or data analytics certifications are a plus (optional).

Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish and English.

Passion for the renewable energy and sustainability sector.
