Senior Business Analyst (JASPERS)

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to strengthen the Cronos Europa team and support the maintenance and evolution of the JASPERS database application for an European Institution.

• Full-time
• Freelance and Employment contract (CDD)
• Duration of the mission: July 2026 – December 2026 (with possible extension)
• On-site (Luxembourg)

Responsabilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for end-users and coordinate with internal IT teams
• Provide daily application support: incident follow-up, prioritisation, root cause analysis and resolution
• Maintain detailed support logs and produce monthly activity summaries
• Perform bug analysis, fixing, testing and documentation
• Contribute to evolutive maintenance: business analysis, solution design, estimation, implementation and testing
• Support release management activities: branch management, build configuration, release preparation and coordination
• Execute non-regression and pre-release testing of new functionalities
• Support JASPERS users with data extraction, insertion and manipulation in the Oracle database
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Maintain and update technical and user documentation
• Provide guidance and support to junior or new team members

Technical skills:

• Strong experience in business analysis and application support in financial services environments
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Good understanding of Java-based enterprise applications (Java, Java EE, JBoss, Spring, Struts)
• Knowledge of relational databases, ideally Oracle
• Experience with testing, release management and incident management processes
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot functional and technical issues
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Profile:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis and/or requirements engineering within a financial institution
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level); additional languages are an asset
