<p><strong>The AML &amp; Compliance team </strong>at Plata ensures regulatory compliance and manages financial crime risks across all products.&nbsp;We are looking for a&nbsp;<strong data-start="374" data-end="394">Business Analyst</strong> to contribute to the development of our <strong data-start="435" data-end="458">internal AML system</strong>.</p> <p data-start="461" data-end="679">In this role, you will work on designing and improving core AML infrastructure — including transaction monitoring, rule management, and system logic — ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business needs.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Challenges that await you:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-section-id="1pjbabn" data-start="718" data-end="836">Gathering and documenting business and regulatory requirements (BRDs, user stories, use cases) for AML systems</li> <li data-section-id="1xznm4k" data-start="837" data-end="914">Designing transaction monitoring logic, rules, and alerting workflows</li> <li data-section-id="1w9gg0u" data-start="915" data-end="1007">Defining data requirements, data mappings, and system integrations for AML processes</li> <li data-section-id="1s4xk4q" data-start="1008" data-end="1096">Translating AML requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams</li> <li data-section-id="zfaeje" data-start="1097" data-end="1182">Managing discovery and supporting backlog prioritization and roadmap planning</li> <li data-section-id="1c61066" data-start="1183" data-end="1258">Supporting development lifecycle: clarifications, UAT, and releases</li> <li data-section-id="jfng1c" data-start="1259" data-end="1337">Ensuring data quality and consistency across AML processes and systems</li> <li data-section-id="didr1j" data-start="1338" data-end="1460">Collaborating with Legal, Risk, Product, Data/Engineering, and Operations to ensure compliance and audit readiness</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What makes you a great fit:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-section-id="lxpnqg" data-start="1500" data-end="1599">3+ years of experience in business analysis or product management within fintech or banking</li> <li data-section-id="1gqdzhk" data-start="1600" data-end="1715">Strong background in AML &amp; Compliance: KYC/CDD, sanctions &amp; PEP screening, transaction monitoring, SAR, RBA</li> <li data-section-id="1t1anua" data-start="1716" data-end="1806">Proven ability to gather and document requirements (BRDs, user stories, use cases)</li> <li data-section-id="92cpcr" data-start="1807" data-end="1870">Experience designing business processes (BPMN 2.0, UML)</li> <li data-section-id="1xy1mrq" data-start="1871" data-end="1931">Experience working with data and system integrations</li> <li data-section-id="1abs808" data-start="1932" data-end="1985">Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail</li> <li data-section-id="b2ss8i" data-start="1986" data-end="2059">Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro;
