Business Analyst – Technology and Reporting

QRT’s culture of innovation continuously drives our ambition to deliver high quality returns for our investors.</p> <p>We are looking for a Business Analyst to support technology-led change initiatives across trading, operations, data, reporting, and control-related workstreams.<br>This role requires strong business analysis skills, hands-on experience with financial markets data, and a solid understanding of US regulatory reporting obligations. You will work closely with Trading, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external vendors to translate business and regulatory needs into clear, practical requirements for delivery teams.</p> <p>Your Future Role</p> <ul> <li>Work at the intersection of business, technology, data, and regulatory change.</li> <li>Analyse business processes, system flows, and order / trade lifecycle data.</li> <li>Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear documentation, data mappings, workflows, and JIRA stories.</li> <li>Support technology delivery from solution design through testing, implementation, validation, and post-release support.</li> <li>Contribute to initiatives linked to US regulatory reporting requirements.</li> <li>Identify data gaps, reporting issues, and process improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Coordinate with Trading, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external vendors.</li> <li>Support UAT, validation, documentation, and business sign-off for technology changes&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your present skillset:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within&nbsp;financial services, trading technology, operations technology, regulatory reporting, or compliance technology.</li> <li>Strong techno-functional mindset with the ability to work with both business and technology teams.</li> <li>Hands‑on exposure to US regulatory reporting requirements.</li> <li>Good understanding of trade, order, transaction, or lifecycle data.</li> <li>Experience with data mapping, gap analysis, functional specifications, workflows, and JIRA.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with complex data.</li> <li>Clear communication skills with the confidence to clarify ambiguity and drive stakeholder alignment.</li> <li>Exposure to FIX connectivity, reporting controls, financial products, or Agile delivery would be an advantage.</li> </ul> <p>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
