About the role
<p>We are seeking a Business Analyst with Trade Operations experience to lead the implementation of our new Trade Finance System.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Project Oversight:</strong><br>Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Trade Finance System project, including gathering and documenting business requirements, reviewing functional specifications, preparing and executing UAT test scripts, and supporting implementation and post-production activities.</li>
<li><strong>UAT Support:</strong><br>Drive UAT planning and execution, ensuring test cases reflect real-world trade operations scenarios and validating system functionality against business needs.</li>
<li><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration:</strong><br>Work closely with Trade Operations, Product, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure system requirements align with operational workflows and regulatory standards.</li>
<li><strong>System Enhancements:</strong><br>Prioritize and manage system enhancements based on feedback from Trade Operations and other stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency.</li>
<li><strong>Documentation & Compliance:</strong><br>Review trade finance documentation and transactions for accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies.</li>
<li><strong>Policy & Process Development:</strong><br>Contribute to the development and refinement of trade finance policies, SOPs, and best practices, incorporating system capabilities and operational insights.</li>
<li><strong>Issue Resolution:</strong><br>Investigate and resolve operational issues related to trade finance transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.</li>
<li><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination:</strong><br>Liaise with internal departments such as Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless transaction processing and system integration.</li>
<li><strong>Training & Enablement:</strong><br>Conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients on system usage and trade finance processes, leveraging operational expertise.</li>
<li><strong>System Utilization:</strong><br>Use trade finance platforms to monitor, process, and report on transactions, ensuring alignment with operational procedures.</li>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Education:</strong><br>Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related disciplines.</li>
<li><strong>Experience:</strong><br>Minimum 3–6 years of experience, preferably in <strong>Trade Operations or Trade Finance</strong>, with exposure to system implementation or business analysis.</li>

<p><strong>Skills & Competencies:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Experience in project management or system implementation is an advantage.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of Trade Finance products (e.g., Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, Open Account, Financing).</li>
<li>Familiarity with trade operations workflows and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.</li>
<li>Strong team player with self-initiative and adaptability.</li>
