About the role
Position Overview:
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our US-based pharmacy services through strategic prospecting and institutional client acquisition. Your primary focus will be conducting outbound outreach to long-term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and similar entities to schedule qualified appointments and consultations for our US-based sales teams.
Work Schedule and Arrangement: 9:00 PM- 6:00 AM, Onsite
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Conduct targeted market research to identify potential long-term care facilities, nursing homes, and senior living communities.
- Utilize various outbound channels, primarily cold calling, to generate leads and build a robust institutional sales pipeline.
Appointment Setting & Outreach
- Make outbound calls to facility administrators, directors of nursing, and key healthcare decision-makers to introduce our specialized pharmacy services.
- Engage with prospective facilities to understand their operational needs, challenges, and current pharmacy fulfillment setup.
- Successfully secure commitments and schedule introductory meetings or presentations for yourself and/or our US-based sales teams.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the US-based sales team, marketing, and onboarding departments to ensure a smooth handoff of scheduled appointments.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to track campaign success and maintain a clean CRM database.
Requirements:
- At least college-level education.
- At least 1 year of outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment-setting experience (either BPO or non-BPO sales).
- Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident professional phone presence.
- Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service mindset and the ability to navigate gatekeepers in institutional settings.
- Experience or familiarity with the US healthcare industry or B2B medical sales is highly preferred.
Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
- Monthly salary of 25,000php - 30,000php
- New hire bonus of 5,000php
- Risk allowance of 2,000php
- Performance-Based Incentives / Blended Performance Bonuses:(Structured in accordance with US healthcare compliance guidelines)
- Bonuses based on attendance, number of phone calls, CRM hygiene, attitude and appointments
