You'll be joining a team powered by Takealot Group's core values.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>This position reports to the :Chief Executive Officer.</strong></p> <p><strong>The Purpose of the role:</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsible for driving the growth, retention, and optimization&nbsp;of TFS's&nbsp; e-commerce logistics ecosystem across South Africa's landscape. This role encompasses the management of&nbsp;Business Development, Client Onboarding, Account&nbsp;Management, and Service Portfolio and Solutions teams.&nbsp;Additionally, the role involves developing innovative logistics&nbsp;programs and frameworks to strengthen seller and client&nbsp;relationships, expand TFS's presence across industry verticals&nbsp;and geographic boundaries, and align the fulfilment solutions&nbsp;team with evolving supply chain needs and market demands.</strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities can include:</strong></p> <p><strong>Strategic Team Building and Development:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish and build the Business Development, Client&nbsp;Onboarding, Account Management, and Service&nbsp;Portfolio &amp;amp; Solutions functions from the ground up.</li> <li>Recruit, structure, and provide foundational leadership&nbsp;to create a high-performing multidisciplinary team&nbsp;aligned with TFS's e-commerce logistics ecosystem strategy.</li> <li>Design and implement comprehensive training&nbsp;frameworks to develop logistics solutions expertise and&nbsp;establish best practices for the evolving team structure.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Market Entry and Logistics Expansion:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and secure foundational partnerships with prominent retailers, brands, and e-commerce businesses seeking end-to-end logistics solutions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Research and establish entry strategies for emerging&nbsp;market segments through strategic 3PL partnerships&nbsp;and new service development.</li> <li>Explore and build pathways for TFS&amp;#39;s international&nbsp;logistics expansion through cross-border e-commerce&nbsp;and freight forwarding opportunities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client Acquisition and Relationship Framework Development:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Create and implement foundational strategies for client&nbsp;acquisition, growth, and retention through innovative&nbsp;fulfilment solutions and operational excellence&nbsp;frameworks.</li> <li>Establish customer-centric programs and processes that&nbsp;will form the foundation for long-term logistics&nbsp;partnerships and service portfolio expansion.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Service Portfolio Development and Revenue Framework&nbsp;Creation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build the Service Portfolio &amp;amp; Solutions function to&nbsp;optimize logistics offerings and establish delivery&nbsp;capabilities aligned with market demand and client&nbsp;needs.</li> <li>Develop initial revenue optimization strategies and&nbsp;frameworks for tailored logistics solutions, pricing&nbsp;models, and value-added services.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Partnership Establishment</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish productive working relationships with TFS&nbsp;internal teams to create end-to-end client and end-&nbsp;customer experience frameworks.</li> <li>Create communication protocols and liaison processes&nbsp;between logistics clients and internal stakeholders to&nbsp;ensure operational excellence from launch.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Qualifications and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business&nbsp;Administration, or similar field.
