DoneDeal.ie is Ireland's largest online car marketplace, with 90% of all car dealerships in Ireland advertising on our platform and reaching over 2.2m users monthly. At DoneDeal Cars our mission is to make buying and selling simple for everyone. We do this through constant innovation and building deep relationships with our car dealer partners.

As a Business Development Executive at DoneDeal Cars, you will be an integral part of our Sales Team, responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with car and commercial dealers. 

Your role will be instrumental in connecting our clients with the vast range of car buyers on DoneDeal Cars whilst always striving for new ways of improving our customer’s performance. We put a strong emphasis on delivering value for our clients so the successful candidate must have a customer first mindset.

What will I be doing

  • Building relationships with key decision-makers to identify revenue opportunities within our extensive dealer client base.

  • Becoming a motor and digital industry expert, offering advice to clients to improve their digital performance.

  • Proactively identifying sales prospects, both within our existing client portfolio and through active prospecting efforts.

  • Consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Demonstrating a strong willingness to become well-versed in our latest products and solutions.

  • Anticipating and responding to client needs while sharing valuable insights with management.

  • Thoroughly understanding our digital solution portfolio and tailoring offerings to meet customer requirements.

  • Developing expertise in CRM systems (experience with Salesforce is a bonus).

  • Providing reliable sales forecasts and adeptly managing both short and long sales cycles.

  • Ensuring timely completion of required administrative tasks.

  • Strategically planning campaigns and creatively developing client accounts that are mutually beneficial.

  • Taking a proactive approach to resolving client issues.

What skills and experience do I need

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in online sales.

  • Track record of strong, consistent sales performance and target attainment.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with a collaborative working style.

  • Solid experience across a range of account types and sizes.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative.

  • Committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with sales best practice.
