<p><strong>Meradia – Business Development Executive</strong></p>

<p>As a Business Development Executive, you will own the acquisition of new clients and expansion at existing clients with the goal of selling all of Meradia’s services. A successful candidate will be skilled at sourcing new clients, independently prospecting, forging new relationships and closing deals. You will work with a shared service support team and subject matter experts to close new client contracts.</p>

<p>REQUIREMENTS</p>
<ul>
<li>Be positioned as a sales professional responsible for selling Meradia to new clients.</li>
<li>Work with junior colleagues to build go to market campaigns across target market segments in North America.</li>
<li>Prospect new clients utilizing a variety of sales tools and outreach channels.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain an understanding of the new client’s overall business, future plans, and potential needs.</li>
<li>Develop and strengthen relationships with clients to support new client acquisitions and grow revenue post initial sale.</li>
<li>Grow new client base and hit growth targets through following up on leads.</li>
<li>Work with a shared services support staff of Marketing and Subject Matter Experts.</li>
</ul>
<p>SKILLS & EXPERIENCE</p>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience with professional services.</li>
<li>5+ years of relevant sales experience in the financial services industries, with a strong preference for asset managers and asset owners</li>
<li>Proven track record communicating up to the c-suite level</li>
<li>Ability to challenge yourself by setting and achieving goals, and helping teammates do the same.</li>
<li>Competitive nature and a drive to be the best.</li>
<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.</li>
<li>Highly motivated and goal-oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks.</li>
<li>Dedicated to upholding Meradia’s high-quality standards and customer service focus.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li>
<li>Proven demonstration of intellectual curiosity, drive, and bias to action, high level of organization, executive presence, business insight, and sales acumen.</li>
<li>Experience using CRM tools (ie: HubSpot)</li>
<li>Experience selling consulting services</li>
</ul>
<p>EDUCATION</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li>
