About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted prospect outreach and management of new business / cross sell opportunities.
  • Research to identify new clients and sectors which Anthesis can support in delivering sustainable performance. 
  • Drive growth and support consulting team with meeting research and preparation in order to best prepare them to engage with the client and present our unique range of sustainability solutions to senior decision makers.  Drive growth through closing deals and own client contracting, procurement and onboarding processes.
  • Drive growth in the Philippines market and support consultants with proposal writing, coordination, and design.
  • In many cases, the proposals require coordination spanning multiple consultant teams. 
  • Work with Marketing and consultant SMEs to develop credential and case study material for proposals. 
  • Qualify inbound leads and prospect potential new business opportunities.  
  • Maintain CRM data, tracking business development activity. 
  • Drive Growth in Philippines market through working actively with the consultants throughout the BD process via notetaking, coordination, scheduling, proposal support, client relationship building & deal closing.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new and/or junior consultants, ensuring they develop the necessary expertise to contribute effectively to the team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement contributing to the enhancement of operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding across all levels of the organization.
  • Support client engagements by providing clear, accurate, and actionable insights.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • A degree and experience in Sustainability, Marketing, Sales, or any related qualification.
  • B2B Business development experience with a track record of success.
  • Passionate about finding solutions to our clients sustainability challenges
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as NetSuite or HubSpot preferred but not essential. 
  • Strong skills in Excel and other data tracking tools. 
  • Passionate about translating complex ideas into PowerPoint presentations 
  • Strong curiosity for how data can tell us stories about what is working well in our BD process and how we can improve. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and to tight deadlines.  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed targets
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and client needs
  • Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes growth opportunities aligned with business strategy
  • Develops compelling value propositions and commercial solutions
  • Applies sound financial judgment, including pricing, margins, and return on investment
  • Understands competitive positioning and differentiators
  • Builds and maintains trusted, long-term relationships with clients and partners
  • Engages effectively with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Collaborates closely with internal teams to shape and deliver client solutions
  • Demonstrates credibility, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions
  • Uses a consultative selling approach to understand client challenges and objectives
  • Develops and presents tailored proposals and pitches
  • Negotiates commercial terms effectively while balancing client and business needs
  • Manages objections and closes opportunities in a timely manner
  • Communicates clearly, confidently, and persuasively in verbal and written formats
  • Delivers structured, engaging presentations to diverse audiences
  • Produces high-quality proposals, briefs, and client communications
  • Demonstrates strong listening skills and adapts messaging to the audience
  • Manages sales pipelines and opportunities using CRM or tracking tools
  • Forecasts accurately and reports progress against targets
  • Coordinates effectively with delivery and operational teams
  • Demonstrates strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
