About the role

  • Drive new business growth by identifying, targeting, and securing opportunities across regulated sectors.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Deliver engaging client meetings, workshops, and system demonstrations that showcase the value of the COMPASS platform.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Develop tailored compliance and risk management solutions that meet client operational and reporting needs.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with internal technical and consultancy teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity to support business growth and strengthen market presence.
  • Proven success in business development, consultative sales, or software/SaaS sales environments.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract close.
  • Confident presenting solutions, leading client demonstrations, and delivering engaging workshops or events.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially driven, self-motivated, and highly organised, with strong pipeline and time management capabilities.
  • Knowledge or experience within water hygiene, compliance, risk management, or other regulated sectors such as healthcare, FM, or the public sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence required, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
