<p>Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS), a division of Takealot Online (RF) (Pty) Ltd, is looking for a highly talented <strong>Business Development Manager</strong> to join our team in <strong>Cape Town.</strong></p>

<p><strong>This position reports to the : </strong><strong>Head of Logistics Services </strong></p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver on sales targets focused on acquiring quality clients </li>
<li>Creating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline with focus on key strategic clients </li>
<li>Conceptualise and execute on new client acquisition strategies </li>
<li>Be able to perform needs analysis for potential clients </li>
<li>Feedback to Senior Management on both sourcing strategies for new clients, and our service delivery for existing client partnerships </li>
<li>Able to manage data to create executable actions and report on findings </li>
<li>Able to work with operational teams to relay client needs or concerns to create executable actions </li>
<li>Able to work cross-functionally within the business to optimize client partnerships </li>
<li>Ability to present to and build relationships with senior managers and clients </li>
<li>Provide national partners with weekly and monthly performance reports around agreed SLA’s </li>
<li>Monitor and analyze the performance of client-specific KPIs, preparing and presenting partner performance review meetings to the TDT & Takealot business </li>
<li>Ensure client partners are also kept accountable on all aspects of their agreed service delivery SLA’s for continuous operational performance </li>
<li>Traveling within South African provinces as required </li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualification & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma</li>
<li>Minimum 3 - 5 years Logistics Sales experience</li>
<li>Experience in generating leads through physical and digital means </li>
<li>Proven track record of delivering results in business growth and development or client acquisition Competence in Excel (Google Sheets) & PowerPoint (Google Slides) Experience in an e-commerce environment is an advantage</li>
