<p>Phizenix Inc is a Tech Talent Solutions, IT Services and IT Consulting organization based out of Livermore, CA. We partner with leading enterprises and high-growth tech organizations to deliver top IT talent through direct, contract, and MSP-managed staffing solutions. As we scale our Bay Area presence, we are looking for a driven <strong>Business Development Manager</strong> to expand our client base and revenue.</p>
<p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>You will own new business development for Phizenix Inc — opening doors, building relationships, and closing deals with clients preferably from Bay Area, CA. This is a hunter role focused on acquiring net-new logos and growing accounts to $2M–$5M+ in revenue, with deep engagement in MSP/VMS-managed programs.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identify and open net-new client relationships across technology, semiconductor, and enterprise sectors.</li>
<li>Sell IT staffing and workforce solutions (contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire) targeting $2M–$5M deal values</li>
<li>Navigate and win within MSP/VMS-managed programs (Fieldglass, Beeline, Wand, IQN)</li>
<li>Build and maintain a robust pipeline through cold calls, networking, and referrals</li>
<li>Collaborate with Phizenix recruiting teams to ensure delivery quality and client satisfaction</li>
<li>Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, close, and account growth</li>
<li>Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL BRING</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of business development or sales experience in IT staffing</li>
<li>Proven track record of acquiring new logos and growing accounts to $2M–$5M+</li>
<li>Hands-on experience working within MSP environments and VMS platforms</li>
<li>Established network of hiring managers, procurement leads, or CXO contacts in the Bay Area</li>
<li>Experience selling to Silicon Valley clients (tech, SaaS, semiconductor, or enterprise)</li>
<li>Strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate leads independently</li>
<li>Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>NICE TO HAVE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience at or selling alongside firms</li>
<li>Familiarity with SOW-based staffing engagements</li>
<li>Experience in both direct client and MSP channel sales motions</li>
</ul>
