ACCIONA’s Business Development Graduate Rotation Program is designed for recent graduates who are interested in building a career in renewable energy project development.

This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of renewable energy business development projects. Through structured rotations across key departments, participants will develop a broad understanding of how projects are originated, developed, engineered, and prepared for execution.

The program is intended to prepare high-potential graduates for future roles as Project Developers or other positions within the business development function.

Program Structure:

Participants will complete rotations across key areas of the business development lifecycle over a one-year program, with each rotation lasting approximately 3–4 months.

Land Securement

  • Support the land securement and negotiation process with landowners

  • Collaborate with GIS and technical teams

  • Review land securement agreements and supporting documentation

  • Assist in land due diligence and document management

Permitting

  • Participate in securing project permits and regulatory approvals

  • Coordinate with local and national government authorities

  • Learn permitting requirements, timelines, and critical compliance points

  • Support the preparation and monitoring of permit documentation

Project Engineering

  • Gain exposure to the technical aspects of renewable energy development

  • Learn about engineering requirements, project initial assessment, layouts, and resource planning

  • Participate in technical discussions with utilities, consultants, and contractors

  • Support the review of engineering outputs and project designs
