Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to support a UK-based employer in Sales at our client. As a South African professional, you will be working remotely to generate leads, book meetings, and close deals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new leads through research, networking, and existing relationships
- Book meetings with potential clients to discuss our client's services
- Close deals by negotiating and finalising contracts with clients
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless project delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
- Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years' experience in Sales or Business Development
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence using tools such as CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Previous experience working with UK clients or companies is advantageous
