About your new role


We're looking for a star in Business Development to join our VIC team and help grow the Allpress community by building strong, long-term partnerships across Melbourne and beyond.


This role is about more than sales. It's about representing the Allpress brand with integrity, creating lasting relationships, and supporting new wholesale partners to deliver exceptional coffee experiences. Working closely with our Sales, Technical, Training and Customer teams, you'll help new partners thrive and ensure their Allpress journey starts strong.


A day in the life


  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities with like-minded cafés, retailers and partners
  • Building strong, genuine relationships with prospective customers and supporting their onboarding journey
  • Developing and executing regional business development strategies to achieve growth targets
  • Representing the Allpress brand in customer meetings, industry events and community programs
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless customer support and brand consistency
  • Monitoring performance and providing reporting pipeline, sales activity and growth opportunities


About you


Ideally, you’ll come from a production, food manufacturing, hospitality or warehousing background and have an interest in specialty coffee. You'll be someone who:


  • Has exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect, influence and inspire
  • Is customer focused with deep empathy and the ability to listen closely to the needs and goals of others
  • Has a passion for the hospitality industry and a solid knowledge of specialty coffee to connect authentically with café professionals
  • Is proactive, resourceful, and adaptable, able to spot opportunities and make things happen
  • Thrives on building people connections and energised by growing strong, lasting relationships
  • Has commercial acumen with confidence working to targets and KPIs
  • Has a collaborative approach, working across technical, training and operational teams


Experience in business development, account management or sales is a bonus.
