About the role
Acosta is seeking a Senior Business Manager to lead strategic growth for our dedicated Campbell team within the Convenience (C-Store) channel. This role calls on retail headquarters and works directly with Buyers, Category Managers, and key decision-makers to drive category growth, expand distribution, and deliver best-in-class execution.
• Own and deliver volume, market share, and revenue growth across assigned Campbell brands
• Lead category strategies including assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotions
• Analyze sales, trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities
• Optimize plans to maximize performance and revenue
• Serve as the primary contact with retail headquarters and key decision-makers
• Build strong relationships with Buyers and Category Managers
• Lead presentations, line reviews, and business planning sessions
• Act as senior lead for Campbell’s portfolio
• Align brand strategies to retailer goals
• Deliver strategic insights and recommendations
• Partner with internal teams to drive execution
• Translate strategy into in-store execution plans
• Utilize IRI, Nielsen, or similar tools to generate insights
• Turn data into actionable selling stories
• Manage trade spend and promotional funds
• Ensure compliance with company and client policies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5–8+ years in CPG, broker, or retail account management
• Strong C-Store experience preferred
• Proven HQ selling and category management success
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
