About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team, to support and improve our core finance applications, with a primary focus on NetSuite and Zip. In this role, you’ll split your time between day-to-day operational support and larger cross-functional projects that enhance our Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes. You’ll work closely with Strategic Finance, Revenue Operations,, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data Science, and IT to translate business needs into scalable, well-controlled systems and workflows.
This is a critical role that will directly shape how Hinge Health’s finance organization operates as we scale our hypergrowth public company. You will work at the intersection of finance domain expertise and technical implementation, partnering with the operational teams, engineering teams, and finance stakeholders to build a world-class financial systems foundation.
What You’ll Accomplish
In your first 3 months
Build a deep understanding of Hinge Health’s Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, and Record‑to‑Report processes and how they map into NetSuite and Zip.
Take ownership of day‑to‑day support for NetSuite and Zip, including triaging user issues, executing configuration updates, and managing permissions.
Document current finance systems processes, configurations, and key integrations to establish a clear baseline for future improvements.
In your first 6 months
Partner with Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Revenue Operations to streamline Zip intake, approval, and payment workflows (e.g., vendor onboarding, purchase requests, contract approvals, vendor payments) while maintaining alignment with finance policies and controls.
Enhance NetSuite configuration across core finance modules (e.g., vendors, items, PO and invoice flows, journal entries, basic workflows/scripts) to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver reporting and dashboards that increase visibility into spend, purchasing cycle times, accruals, and other key finance metrics.
Contribute to systems projects across the full lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design, testing, deployment, change management, and post‑launch support.
In your first year
Serve as a go‑to partner for Finance and cross‑functional teams on how to translate business needs into scalable systems designs and well‑controlled workflows.
Lead initiatives to tighten SOX‑aligned controls, close process gaps, and improve audit readiness across finance systems.
Help shape the roadmap for integrations between NetSuite, Zip, and adjacent systems (e.g., HRIS, T&E, contract management, data warehouse/BI), working closely with IT/Engineering.
Champion best practices, training, and documentation so finance stakeholders can adopt new capabilities confidently and maintain high‑quality transactional data at scale.

Basic Qualifications
Experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a consulting, healthcare, or SaaS environment.
Strong experience with NetSuite (finance modules) including Chart of Accounts structure, saved searches, SuiteQL, SuiteCloud Development Framework reports, and workflows.
Strong experience working with Zip (similar intake to procure / procurement modules)(or similar intake-to-procure / procurement request tools) , including queues, subqueues, workflows, rules, objects. to design and maintain approval workflows.
Requirements-gathering skills: ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, process maps, and technical/functional specifications.
Are comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving requirements and tight timelines acrosstimelinesComfort working across both operational support and project work (roughly 50/50 split).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable digging into transactional data to troubleshoot issues and validate changes.
Clear, concise communication skills; able to partner effectively with Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Data Science,, and external vendors.
Detail-oriented and organized in documenting all processes created and implemented.
Possess strong understanding of financial accounting processes including General Ledger, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and management reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, or scripting languages for data analysis and integration supportNetSuite developer experience (integrations, restlets, suitescript).
Prior experience implementing or scaling Zip or similar AP system at a growing company.
KnowledgeExposure ofto SOX compliance requirements, internal controls for finance systems, and/or ITGC public-company finance processes.
Experience with other finance-adjacent systems (e.g., Avalara, Workday, bank integrations, 3PL carriers, contract lifecycle management tools, data warehouses/BI tools).
Experience with AI solutions and automations.
Background in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, with understanding of GAAP/IFRS reporting requirements.

Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office is a dog-friendly workplace.
