Butcher (Fixed term) - New World Wigram

 

Are you a qualified butcher looking for a change? Even if you are experienced knife hand, we are happy to have a conversation. 

 

This role entails working with our butchery team to ensure our customers have an excellent range of butchery products for our customers, produced to a high standard.

 

Days & Hours: 

 

This is fixed term role June 2026 until end of December 2026. 

 

40 hours per week. Days of work will be Sunday to Thursday, shift times will be discussed during the interview. Starts times will be around 6am.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

• Prepare, cut, and display a wide range of quality meats
• Maintain our high standards for product quality, presentation, and food safety
• Deliver exceptional customer service and product advice
• Support your team to keep the butchery running smoothly and efficiently
• Uphold all health & safety and food safety standards

 

The successful candidate will:

 

• Qualified Butcher or experienced professional with a strong butchery background.
• Passion for the Butchery trade with a commitment to quality.
• Eager to contribute to the success of the team and the development in innovation.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
