About the role
We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area, seeking an innovative and customer-focused team member to join our Butchery Department. As a member of our team, the primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers, playing a crucial role in ensuring access to a wide variety of quality Butchery products.
The successful candidate will be required to provide excellent customer service, maintain a positive attitude, thrive under pressure, and exhibit physical agility and positivity. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with regular customers, providing them with the exceptional experience they deserve. We seek individuals knowledgeable about Butchery operations with a genuine passion for food and customer service.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key abilities:
- Exceeding customers' service expectations
- Physical fitness and a high level of personal presentation
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Implementation of Food and Health and Safety requirements
- A team player with a commitment to reliability, organization and strong time management skills
- A keen willingness to learn and outstanding communication skills
Key responsibilities are:
-Package, weigh and label meat products for display and sale.
-Provide friendly and attentive customer service, answering questions and assisting with customers with their purchases.
-Receive and stock incoming shipments of meat products, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.
-Cleaning of the department to a high standard.
This is a permanent full-time role.
The hours for this role will be as follows:
- Butchery Assistant
- Wednesday: 10.00am-6.30pm
- Thursday: 10.00am-6.30pm
- Friday: 10.00am-6.30pm
- Saturday: 10.00am-6.30pm
