Full-time Butchery Manager
Alexandra New World is a proudly family-owned supermarket serving the Central Otago community. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Butchery Manager to lead our butchery department.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining butchery and management responsibilities. As Butchery Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing stock, ordering and stocktakes
- Maintaining hygiene, food safety, health and safety standards
- Leading, training and rostering
- Delivering excellent customer service and product advice
- Creating displays, promotions and departmental specials
- Monitoring production, quality, waste and profitability
About you
We are looking for someone who brings strong technical butchery skills and proven leadership experience.
- Supervisory or management experience
- Someone who brings strong technical butchery skills and proven leadership
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with stock management and ordering
