The Buyer is responsible for strategically building, managing and reporting on the performance of brand and product offering for Lookfantastic in line with business KPI’s and vision. As Buyer, you’ll:   <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Senior Buyer/Head of Buying to plan, build and execute plans for sustainable growth and development of the department   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop a departmental strategy to deliver business KPI’s  </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Conducts regular reviews of ranges within their brands and stock management.  </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Build strong brand relationships to be the partner of choice, developing mid to long term strategic plans, securing exclusive brand and product launches, marketing investment and commercial drivers   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work collaboratively across multiple departments, communicating and influencing effectively as well as conducting regular meetings with key stakeholders   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Be responsible for delivering the department and brand budgets in line with agreed KPI’s   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Continuously monitor and review of department performance to analyse sales patterns business wide, advises teams to take appropriate action   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Attend biannual strategy meetings with brands ensuring the Lookfantastic strategy and customer are at the heart of decision making when building joint business plans   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Monitor satisfaction with all brand partners to ensure best in class delivery  </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Take responsibility for efficient stock management, ensuring optimum stock holding to meet sales budgets, strategies for overstocks and exit plans for obsolete stock   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage the selection of product ranges, using customer insights and feedback to maximise new product opportunities and range visibility, to create an unparalleled customer experience and maximise sales and profit to achieve KPI’s   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage and accountable for their brand P&L and share plans to grow business profit   </li> <li>Conducts regular reviews of ranges within their brands & manage discontinuations and renovations accordingly.   </li> </ul>   What skills and experience do I need for this role?  <ul> <li>Strong experience operating as a Junior Buyer/ Buyer    </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Can drive the success of a department through creative and commercial thinking   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong awareness of current beauty trends and competitor activity   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Passion for beauty industry, brands and products   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Has highly developed negotiation and influencing skills   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrates a commercial mindset, using data and insights to leverage opportunities   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Builds great relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience in beauty retailing with a proven recording of trading in a fast-paced environment   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong commercial acumen and savvy; highly numerate with strong analytical skills   </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills    </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Outlook)   </li> </ul> What’s in it for me?  Career Development  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Access bespoke development programmes that have been designed and developed by our in-house L&D team. </li> </ul> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Continued development through our upskilling programme that is delivered in partnership with an industry-leading training provider. </li> </ul> Enhanced Leave  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. </li> </ul> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Don’t want to work on your birthday?
