<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">As a Buyer II, you will independently manage procurement execution across assigned suppliers and commodities while ensuring material availability to support engineering builds and production. You will serve as the primary point of contact for supplier execution activities and proactively manage delivery performance, shortages, and supply continuity.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This role will primarily support electronics commodities including custom printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), cable harnesses, sensors, connectors, and related electronic assemblies. You will work closely with Global Supply Managers (GSMs), Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure procurement activities are executed effectively and supplier commitments align with business needs.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This role requires strong procurement execution skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to independently manage procurement priorities and supplier performance in a fast-paced hardware environment.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">About the Work</span></h2>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage all purchase order activity for assigned suppliers, including creation, revisions, confirmations, and delivery management.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own supplier communications related to delivery schedules, shortages, push-in/push-out requests, engineering changes, and recovery plans.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Monitor supplier performance and proactively identify supply risks before they impact engineering builds or production schedules.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy including pricing, lead times, supplier records, order status, sourcing information, and procurement parameters.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support request for quotation (RFQ) activities and supplier quote analysis to assist Global Supply Managers (GSMs) with sourcing decisions and cost reduction initiatives.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive tactical cost savings through supplier engagement, quote comparisons, pricing analysis, and identification of commercial opportunities.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate material readiness for prototype, engineering validation, and production builds.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with Planning and Manufacturing teams to resolve shortages and material availability issues.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Track long-lead materials and work closely with suppliers to ensure supply continuity and schedule alignment.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support supplier onboarding activities and ensure suppliers meet procurement process requirements.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Resolve invoice discrepancies, shipment issues, receiving concerns, and supplier-related execution challenges.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide timely updates to cross-functional teams regarding supplier commitments, shortages, material availability, and delivery risks.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support new product introduction (NPI) activities through proactive procurement planning and supplier coordination.</span></li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">About You</span></h2>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or practical equivalent experience.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">4+ years of purchasing experience in hardware, manufacturing, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or similar environments.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience purchasing custom printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), cable harnesses, sensors, connectors, or other electronic components and assemblies strongly preferred.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working with electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers and contract manufacturers preferred.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong understanding of procurement execution, supplier delivery management, and material planning processes.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience supporting prototype, NPI, and production build activities.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong command of ERP/MRP systems (Windchill, MISys, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to independently manage suppliers, competing priorities, and aggressive timelines.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong written and verbal communication skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.</span></li>
