This team serves as a call center for our Michigan market. Day-to-day responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Entering order received via e-mail, US Mail, fax or phone into ERP system</li> <li>Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy and timeliness of customer orders</li> <li>Processing customer returns and vendor credits where necessary</li> <li>Creating vendor purchase orders as needed to fulfill customer orders and to maintain the cabinetry stocking inventory programs</li> <li>Working closely with the Outside Sales Team and assisting with new dealer training, product update communication, etc.</li> <li>Scheduling vendor delivery trucks and communicating to Warehouse Manager</li> <li>Full support for all cabinet brands</li> <li>Participating in vendor training events</li> <li>Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the office work areas and other areas as assigned by the Customer Service Manager</li> <li>Assisting with other tasks and projects as requested by leadership</li> </ul> <p>At Lumbermen’s, we pride ourselves on treating our customers like family and delivering exceptional service. &nbsp;It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is highly organized and detail-oriented, service-minded, a strong and friendly communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma/GED required</li> <li>College degree preferred</li> <li>2-5 years’ experience in a professional customer service environment required</li> <li>Prior cabinetry program knowledge and experience is preferred</li> <li>Prior kitchen design experience preferred along with 20/20 design</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written</li> <li>Friendly, professional demeanor</li> <li>Dependable</li> <li>Ability to work cooperatively with fellow employee owners</li> <li>Ability to effectively move between a variety of tasks</li> <li>Ability to productively manage tasks and complete work accurately and in a timely manner</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li> <li>Desire to learn and grow and assist in the execution of continuous improvement initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p> <p>Lumbermen’s exists to enrich the lives of people by intentionally caring for all who experience us.&nbsp; You will experience a different kind of work environment and “family” here and help live out the Lumbermen’s promises of <em>committing to those who count on us</em>, <em>doing what’s right</em>, <em>exercising sound business practices</em> and <em>earning consideration</em>.
