We’re looking for a <strong>CAD Designer Lead</strong> to turn bold ideas into manufacturable reality at our Chandler, Arizona facility.</p> <h1>Why You’ll Love This Role</h1> <ul> <li>You’ll own the R&amp;D design process end-to-end — creating, refining, and improving products built for the off-road community.</li> <li>Your designs won’t sit on a shelf. They get laser-cut, bent, welded, and bolted onto real trucks.</li> <li>You’ll work hands-on with a prototype engineering team that takes parts from screen to physical reality.</li> <li>Made in the USA, built for the elite — you’ll be part of a team obsessed with the details that matter.</li> </ul> <h1>What You’ll Do</h1> <ul> <li>Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily — from templates, physical parts, or your own designs.</li> <li>Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.</li> <li>Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models of vehicle data to drive new product development.</li> <li>Partner with the prototype engineering team to move new products into automation and production.</li> <li>Take open instructions on part and assembly revisions and run with them.</li> </ul> <h1>What You Bring – Position Requirements</h1> <ul> <li>Strong SolidWorks skills — you can manage complex assemblies and create sheet metal and tubular parts with confidence.</li> <li>3 years - Experience designing similar automotive or aerospace products</li> <li>Experience with tooling and fixtures, and the know-how to bring a 3D model into physical reality.</li> <li>Working knowledge of machine work and processes for final parts.</li> <li>Experience collaborating with an engineering team and producing accurate, measured drawings.</li> <li>A creative mindset paired with the discipline to translate ideas into clean, manufacturable assemblies.</li> <li>Self-motivated and assertive, comfortable in a fast-paced shop where priorities shift quickly.</li> <li>A team-first attitude — you put the success of the team above your own interests.</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.</li> </ul> <h1>Pay &amp; Benefits</h1> <ul> <li>Starting at $68,000 is negotiable depending on experience.</li> <li>Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.</li> <li>Paid time off.</li> <li>Employee discount on the gear you’ll help create.</li> <li>Employee referral program.</li> </ul> <h1>Schedule &amp; Location</h1> <ul> <li>Full-time, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday.</li> <li>On-site at our Chandler, AZ facility.</li> </ul> <h1>A Few Things to Know</h1> <p>We are a drug-free workplace.
