As we continue to expand our operations in Ghent, we are looking for a Batch Release Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering CAR-T cell therapies – making a direct impact on patients’ lives. <h2>What can you expect?  </h2> As a Batch Release Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating the timely manufacturing and release of patient-specific batches within our end-to-end supply chain. You ensure smooth collaboration across teams in a sterile GMP environment.  You are responsible for;   Batch Coordination & Stakeholder Management   <ul> <li>Coordinating the on-time release of finished product batches in close collaboration with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Investigations teams<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335557856":16777215,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":257,"335559991":360}"> </li> <li>Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication </li> <li>Providing transparent updates on batch status, progress, and challenges </li> <li>Building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders </li> </ul> Monitoring & Issue Resolution  <ul> <li>Proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks impacting batch release timelines </li> <li>Driving discussions to resolve issues and ensure continuity </li> <li>Escalating critical risks and supporting decision-making at the appropriate level </li> </ul> Planning  <ul> <li>Supporting detailed production scheduling and contributing to the master production plan </li> <li>Collaborating with planning teams to align supply with clinical and commercial demand </li> </ul> Continuous Improvement   <ul> <li>Driving process improvements and contributing to reporting and scalable planning methodologies </li> </ul> <h2>Who are we looking for?</h2> <h3>Education  </h3> <ul> <li>You obtained a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or a related field or have equivalent experiene </li> </ul> <h3>Experience  </h3> <ul> <li>You have at least three years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations or quality </li> <li>Experience in a GMP environment within pharma or biotech is a strong plus </li> </ul> <h3>Languages  </h3> <ul> <li>You are fluent in English </li> </ul> <h3>Strengths  </h3> <ul> <li>You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li> <li>You have strong communication skills that foster collaboration and set clear expectations </li> <li>You are able to coordinate complex processes and manage multiple priorities </li> <li>You are able to stay calm, focussed and motivated under tight deadlines. </li> </ul> <h2>What do we offer you?</h2> <ul> <li>A meaningful job where you contribute to patients’ lives. </li> <li>A supportive and innovative work environment. We value and encourage learning and personal development.  </li> <li>The opportunity to work with people from all over the world. </li> <li>A permanent contract of indefinite duration and an attractive salary package complemented by a wide range of fringe benefits, including additional statutory holidays, meal vouchers, company laptop, net allowance, group and hospitalization insurance, double holiday pay, end-of-year bonus, performance bonus and the possibility to participate in our bicycle lease plan.</li> <li>Many fun and informal events. </li> </ul> <h2>About Legend Biotech </h2> Legend Biotech is a global biotechnology company dedicated to developing, manufacturing, and commercializing innovative and life-saving cell therapies for the treatment of chronic and life-threatening diseases, such as cancer.  The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey.
