Overview

Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide in-home personal care services for Military Veterans in the Rio Rancho and Bernalillo areas. This PRN/on-call position is ideal for someone who is reliable, patient, and passionate about helping others maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal assistance
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance
• Follow individualized care plans and delegated care instructions
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the clinical team
• Escort or transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care at all times

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, or healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must live in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, or surrounding areas
