About the role
- Build and develop strong, trusted relationships with carrier partners, growing existing accounts and establishing new carrier collaborations.
- Develop long-term capacity plans with carrier partners.
- Negotiate rates and commercial terms.
- Drive technology adoption and process improvements with carriers.
- Monitor carrier performance and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Use data insights to improve network utilization and profitability.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations, preferably in road freight.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Fluency in English; another European language is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
