This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Case Manager position.</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The compensation for this role is $20/hour with upward mobility.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsibilities</span></p> <ul> <li>Assist Case Managers and Attorneys in organizing and maintaining client files, gaining exposure to caseloads of 100+ cases</li> <li>Submit check requests for records including medical documentation, accident reports, driving history, and vehicle</li> <li>Support demand preparation by gathering and organizing case documents electronically</li> <li>Handle certified mail processing and support digital document</li> <li>Perform general administrative tasks including typing, operating office equipment, and sorting</li> <li>Support electronic file management while building knowledge of case phases and documentation best practices</li> <li>Prepare and send standard letters including turndowns, new representations, contracts, and multi-party combo letters</li> <li>Assist in drafting and sending demand letters to build knowledge of negotiation and settlement</li> <li>Work closely with an experienced Case Manager to build core case management skills and support long-term professional development</li> <li>Assist with other related duties to gain broader experience and contribute to case progress and team efficiency</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Qualifications</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">High school diploma or GED</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department (preferred)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">#LI-KL1</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Morgan &amp; Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
