With their attention to detail and structured approach, they ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date. To strengthen our Retail Finance team at our Durban-based HQ, we’re looking for a methodical and driven Cashbook Clerk to support the effective management of daily cashbook activities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">By completing reconciliations accurately, resolving discrepancies efficiently and working closely with retail teams, you will help maintain the integrity of our financial information and support smooth business operations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The highly organised and detail-oriented individual best suited to this role will:&nbsp;</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Reconcile daily bank statements to Syspro ERP, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure all credit card transactions reflect correctly on bank statements each day.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Capture and maintain daily bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Work closely with retail branches to ensure cash-ups are completed accurately and within required timeframes.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Investigate and resolve discrepancies efficiently, ensuring all issues are addressed and corrected timeously.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain accurate and well-organised financial records to support reporting and audit requirements.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Consistently apply strong attention to detail to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>In line with Jonsson Workwear’s commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.</p></div>
