Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team! As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions, handling cash and card payments, and providing excellent customer service. If you have a strong attention to detail, are able to work well under pressure, and have experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Alert management to any discrepancies
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and balancing of the cash register
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a retail environment preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and experience with processing transactions on a POS system
• Basic math skills and ability to make change accurately
  
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
