<p><span data-contrast="auto">The Category Manager plays a critical role in transforming insights into action to drive retailer success and category growth. We are seeking a Category Manager to lead category strategy for our Spreads, Creams, and Cheese portfolio, delivering best-in-class category solutions across the Natural/Specialty and Walmart channels. This highly visible role partners closely with brand and field teams, developing compelling, data-driven stories that support customer engagement and decision-making. The Category Manager will build strong relationships with brokers, internal and external sales teams, and brand partners, with a focus on accelerating sales, improving profitability, and enabling sustainable business growth.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What You’ll Do</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Develop a customer-facing category strategy for Spreads, Creams, and Cheese categories.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Provide guidance on field execution (POGs) by creating localized shelving recommendations for the field to digest and cater to individual retailers and buyers, highlighting adds and deletes.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Collect and report on POG schedules, share of shelf changes, and placement pre-& post resets.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Build a Customer Selling Story with Sales partners for the retailer’s innovation and planning meetings.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure Brokers understand the strategy and localize the national strategy to execute plans accordingly.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain templates for easier storytelling and ensure the broker has the tools needed.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ad Hoc Analysis for accounts.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">About You</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">10+ years of category experience in CPG or distributor/broker</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with Spins, Nielsen AOD Scan, Panel, and IRI Unify. Power BI, JDA a plus.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong planning and analytical skills.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong communication skills, including verbal and written.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Travel is expected to be dependent on retailer/customer/business need. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">You’re a Self-Starter: Self-motivated, resourceful, and don’t need your “handheld” to get things accomplished.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">You’re a Category Management guru: You have experience in developing and executing Category Strategies nationally</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
