The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and exceptional organizational skills to assist in client catering events from start to finish. , coordination and food preparation, and ensuring that all catering services are executed flawlessly.</p> <ul> <li><strong>You must be able to work in the kitchen, preparing all catered meals for offsite client.&nbsp; Once completed, the Catering Prep Coordinator packs, delivers and sets up the catered lunches and events offsite. </strong></li> <li>Manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for catering services.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.</li> <li>Familiarity with menu planning and event coordination in a catering context.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li> <li><strong>Driver's License and current Florida auto insurance required. Final candidates will receive MVR background check and must show proof of insurance.</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>WE OFFER OUR Catering Prep Coordinator:</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Flexible Schedules<br>•&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Discounted Meal Program – including catering<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Training &amp; Career Growth Opportunities</p> <p><strong>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Flexible and long hours required at times<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to maneuver safely throughout the walk-ins and kitchen during the shift<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Able to handle and operate safely: steamer, knives, steam table, gas range, convection ovens, meat slicer, digital scales, automatic dish machine, all chemical solvents and hot water<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Has the ability to reach overhead, carry/transport sheet pans, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Approach all encounters with Guests in a friendly, socially distanced and service-oriented manner <br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Continuously clean high touch points throughout the kitchen area<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay’s business levels which may vary based on the needs of the restaurant and check list protocols per Covid-19 standards of cleanliness<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves when/where if required and as regulated</p> <p>TooJay's is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify</p> <p></p>
