<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM</p>
<p><strong>Overview</strong><br>Pyramid Healthcare’s Recovery Support Services Division is seeking a <strong>Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS)</strong> to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders. This role is essential in guiding clients through recovery by serving as a mentor, advocate, and motivator.</p>
<p>The CRS uses lived experience and a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach to help individuals maintain sobriety and achieve long-term recovery. This position supports clients across traditional CRS services and Center of Excellence (COE) programs focused on Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).</p>

<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Provide peer-based recovery support across the continuum of care</li>
<li>Facilitate one-on-one recovery sessions focused on client goals and wellness</li>
<li>Assist clients in accessing community resources and recovery supports</li>
<li>Support engagement in sober activities, education, and employment opportunities</li>
<li>Collaborate with treatment teams, families, and community partners</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings and advocate for recovery-centered care</li>
<li>Help clients rebuild relationships and strengthen support systems</li>
<li>Connect individuals to support groups, social services, and job resources</li>
<li>Deliver recovery education based on individual needs</li>
<li>Monitor progress and assist with referrals when needed</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation and recovery plans</li>
<li>Attend trainings and continuing education</li>
</ul>

<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Active <strong>Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS)</strong> certification (required)</li>
<li>Minimum <strong>1 year of experience</strong> in behavioral health or substance use treatment</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1+ year of direct peer support experience</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Understanding of addiction and recovery principles</li>
<li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment</li>
<li>Knowledge of professional ethics and confidentiality</li>
<li>Strong organizational and documentation skills</li>
<li>Ability to motivate and engage individuals at various recovery stages</li>
</ul>

<h2>Continuing Education Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>18 hours annually</li>
<li>30 hours over a 2-year certification cycle (per PCB standards)</li>
