<h3><strong>Position Overview</strong></h3>
<p>Pyramid Healthcare’s <strong>Recovery Support Services Division</strong> is seeking a compassionate and motivated <strong>Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS)</strong> to join our <strong>Quakertown team</strong>.</p>
<p>In this role, you will provide peer-based recovery support to individuals working toward sustained recovery from substance use disorders. As a CRS, you serve as a <strong>mentor, role model, advocate, and motivator</strong>, using your lived experience and a strengths-based approach to empower individuals throughout their recovery journey.</p>
<p>This position supports individuals across the continuum of care, including those engaged in <strong>Center of Excellence (COE)</strong> services for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Support individuals in <strong>initiating and sustaining recovery</strong> through peer-based services</li>
<li>Connect individuals with <strong>community-based recovery supports and resources</strong></li>
<li>Provide ongoing support before, during, and after treatment episodes</li>
<li>Facilitate <strong>one-on-one recovery support sessions</strong> focused on goals, strengths, and wellness</li>
<li>Empower individuals to build <strong>self-advocacy skills, independence, and personal accountability</strong></li>
<li>Collaborate with <strong>clinical teams, families, and community providers</strong></li>
<li>Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute a <strong>recovery-focused perspective</strong></li>
<li>Encourage involvement in <strong>sober social, educational, vocational, and employment opportunities</strong></li>
<li>Assist individuals with rebuilding <strong>healthy relationships and support networks</strong></li>
<li>Link clients to <strong>mutual-aid groups, volunteer opportunities, and employment resources</strong></li>
<li>Provide <strong>recovery education</strong> based on each individual’s stage of change</li>
<li>Serve as a <strong>positive role model</strong>, appropriately sharing lived experience</li>
<li>Monitor recovery progress and assist with <strong>referrals to treatment services when needed</strong></li>
<li>Support individuals in overcoming barriers in early recovery</li>
<li>Assist in the development and updating of <strong>individualized recovery plans</strong></li>
<li>Maintain <strong>accurate and timely documentation</strong> in accordance with program standards</li>
<li>Attend required trainings, meetings, and continuing education</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li>

<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Active <strong>Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS)</strong> certification at time of hire</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Minimum <strong>1 year of experience</strong> in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1+ year of <strong>direct peer support experience</strong></li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Continuing Education Requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>18 hours of continuing education annually</strong></li>
<li>Minimum <strong>30 hours over a two-year certification cycle</strong> per PCB standards</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of <strong>substance use disorders and recovery-oriented systems of care</strong></li>
<li>Ability to engage individuals across varying stages of readiness</li>
<li>Strong ability to <strong>collaborate within a multidisciplinary team</strong></li>
<li>Commitment to maintaining <strong>professional boundaries and confidentiality</strong></li>
<li>Strong <strong>rapport-building and motivational skills</strong> using lived experience</li>
<li>Effective <strong>organizational and documentation skills</strong></li>
<li>Excellent <strong>communication and interpersonal abilities</strong></li>
