You will set quality benchmarks, and collaborate closely with Art Direction, Design, and Technical teams to bring compelling, high-quality characters to life<br><br><strong>What you'll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and uphold the visual quality bar for all character assets</li> <li>Collaborate with our Art Director to establish and maintain character style, tone, and consistency</li> <li>Create high-quality character assets, including sculpting, modeling, texturing, and presentation</li> <li>Translate concept art and references into high-quality character models with minimal oversight ensuring that all in-game character assets are optimized</li> <li>Partner with a small team of hands-on directors working closely with Animation, Tech Art, Engineering, Gameplay Design and Art Direction</li> <li>Help define and improve pipelines, workflows, and best practices</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and support a team of Character Artists in the futur, fostering artistic growth and technical excellence</li> <li>Participate in planning, estimation, and risk assessment for character art production<br> <div>&nbsp;</div> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in the video game industry</li> <li>Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, game-ready character work</li> <li>Expert knowledge of anatomy, form, proportion, and character design principles</li> <li>Proficiency in industry-standard tools</li> <li>Experience working with Unreal Engine</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li> </ul> <div> <p><span data-contrast="auto">At Wizards, we believe in the magic of diversity—great ideas come from unique perspectives.
