Chief Executive Officer, Mexico

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader to become our CEO, Mexico and build our presence from the ground up. You’ll be instrumental in driving our commercial growth and positioning bunq as the go-to financial partner for our users. You'll be the driving force behind our success in the Mexican market, turning our vision into clear actions that have a direct impact on our product and millions of potential users.

As our CEO, Mexico, you’ll play a critical role in solving our biggest challenge: winning the Mexican market by building a bank that people love to use.

• Country Success: You will have full ownership of bunq's success in Mexico.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and execute a local commercial strategy to hit user growth and revenue targets.

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate with and manage a broad set of stakeholders including Marketing, Product, and external partners.

• Regulatory Compliance: Perform a Senior Management Function (SMF) and ensure proper governance, compliance, and oversight, building trust with local regulators.

• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team to achieve our ambitious goals.

• You have an excellent understanding of local users (consumers & small businesses) in Mexico, their needs, and how to communicate with them about their financial lives.

• You have a good understanding of the competition for banking and financial services in the local market.

• You have the ability to define and execute on a local commercial strategy (including delivering on budget, user, and revenue targets).

• You can communicate to and manage a broad set of stakeholders (i.e., Marketing, Product, external partners) to define and execute a go-to-market strategy and drive commercial success.

• You have experience working directly with financial regulators and are comfortable representing the business in regulatory conversations, building trust with supervisory bodies, and ensuring local growth is delivered in line with governance and compliance expectations.

• You have the ability to perform a Senior Management Function (SMF).

• You are fluent in English to communicate effectively in a global team.
