POSITION SUMMARY 

We are looking for a talented web developer to support our marketing efforts. The developer will be involved in development and maintenance of the company website along with programming in support of marketing efforts including WordPress website, Salesforce integration, third party system implementation and in-house application development, from requirements gathering, design and development, through customization and maintenance. This position is ideal for the developer who is passionate about all types of technologies and applications (homegrown and third party), is an enthusiastic learner and has a strong desire to impact the success of one of the fastest growing companies.
The Web Developer will be responsible for improving the efficiency by automating systems and processes within the marketing organization.
Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, this position will require the ability of the developer to work cross-departmentally within the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered.

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree preferred

Essential Experience and Skills:

• 3+ years experience in web application development.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Expertise in working with WordPress to create and adjust themes and templates.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Apache and Linux command line.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Passion for and ability to work with all types of technology, from third party applications to homegrown systems.
• Creative approach to solving problems.
• Proven ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and deliver results within tight timeframes.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct responsibilities.
• High degree of flexibility, versatility, and self-motivation.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
• Ability, willingness and desire to grow and learn.
• Experience in project management, administration, personnel management, project scheduling.
• Written and oral skills to communicate progress to stakeholders.

Helpful, But Not Required Experience and Skills:

• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications
• Experience working with HTML in email clients.
• Experience administering and debugging of Web servers (for example, Apache).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and HTTP protocol and request processing.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development practices.
